Caring For Babies

My Ofsted registration certificate allows me to care for one child less than 1 year of age. This ensures that your baby gets all the attention it needs whilst in my care. I am able to look after babies as young as 6 weeks old. I have equipment to help me look after your baby; this includes a travel cot, steriliser, car seat, baby monitor, toys, stair gates and a baby gym. I also going keep a diary of baby's feeds, sleeps and other significant events of the day; this will go home for the parents to read in the evening and make their own comments for my reference the following day.

It would be preferred if parents could leave me with formula or breast milk, nappies, creams and wipes if possible, if baby is being weaned suitable baby food should also be provided, there is no need to bring bowls or cups though as I can provide those. After a discussion with you, the child's routine is adhered to as much as possible, this includes feeding and sleeping. Provisions can also be made if mum wishes to carry on breastfeeding. I can store milk in the freezer or fridge and use when needed, feeds can then be given by either cup or bottle.

I am also registered with Ofsted for the overnight care of one child or baby, there is a nightly charge rather than hourly for this service, please contact me for further information.
If you are worried how your child is settling in, please remember I am only a phone call away and you're welcome to phone me when ever you like.
