The children will be made aware of different cultures and will be encouraged to accept everyone is different and therefore has different needs. I will work in partnership with parents to ensure that each child is treated fairly and that all cultures and beliefs are celebrated.

Any discriminatory behaviour or remarks will not be accepted. The response will be to help those responsible to understand and overcome their prejudices and to be sensitive to the feelings of others.

The welfare of each child in my care is always of paramount importance.
